Children (4–10): little smiles, big head start
Most offices wait until age 7 (or later) to take a first look. We don't always wait that long — and here's why it matters.
Think of it like play-dough. A young child's jaws are like fresh play-dough: soft, warm, and easy to shape. While your child is still growing, we can gently guide that growth — widen a narrow palate, make room for crowded teeth, and encourage healthy nasal breathing — with light, simple steps. Wait too long and the play-dough hardens.
And if there's nothing to do yet? We'll tell you. Plenty of young kids just need us to keep a friendly eye on things as they grow. We never invent treatment.
Teens (11–17): the classic age for a confident smile
Ages 11–17 are the most common window for treatment — the jaw is still cooperative and most permanent teeth are in. Teens can choose clear aligners, discreet clear braces, or metal braces with fun-colored bands.
We keep it easy: clear expectations, comfortable visits, and a plan that fits school, sports, and everything else.
Adults (18+): it's never too late — and it's your turn
Teeth keep shifting through adult life, affecting bite, cleaning, and confidence. Plenty of our patients are adults finally doing this for themselves, and our discreet options (clear aligners, clear braces, custom LightForce) mean most people won't even notice.
We'll also check the airway side — for many adults, that's the piece no one ever looked at.
