What's your smile trying to tell you?

Sometimes the sign isn't crooked teeth — it's snoring, mouth breathing, restless sleep, or trouble focusing. Because how a face grows shapes how a child breathes, sleeps, and feels, we screen for the things most offices never check. Find what you're noticing below, then let's take a look together.

Mouth Breathing

Breathing through the mouth instead of the nose can reshape how the face and jaws grow, narrow the airway, and disrupt sleep. It's one of the most important early signs we look for.

What we do: Airway First evaluation and, often, palatal expansion.

Snoring

Snoring in kids isn't cute, it's a clue. It's a common early sign of sleep-disordered breathing, and better sleep changes everything.

What we do: Airway First screening and collaborative care.

Crowding

When there isn't enough room in the jaw, teeth overlap and bunch up. Often the real issue is a jaw that didn't grow wide enough — which is where we create room instead of pulling teeth.

What we do: Expansion (avoiding extractions), then braces or aligners.

Crossbite

Upper teeth biting inside the lower teeth, front or back — frequently a sign of a narrow upper jaw. Caught early, it's very treatable.

What we do: Palatal expansion (often MARPE), then alignment.

Teeth Not Coming Through

Adult teeth that are delayed, blocked, or impacted. Our 3D imaging finds exactly what's going on beneath the gums.

What we do: Early detection with Napoli 3D; guide eruption and create space.

Deep Bite

Upper front teeth overlapping the lowers too far, which can wear teeth and strain the jaw.

What we do: Braces or aligners; growth guidance in kids.

Picky Eating

Struggling with certain textures can trace back to jaw development, bite, or airway and tongue posture.

What we do: Growth and airway evaluation; myofunctional support.

Speech Issues

Certain sounds are harder when the bite, palate, or tongue posture is off.

What we do: Alignment plus airway and tongue-posture evaluation.

Bedwetting

Often overlooked, bedwetting can be linked to disrupted, low-quality sleep from airway problems.

What we do: Airway evaluation and collaborative care.

Ear Infections

Frequent ear infections can travel alongside airway and craniofacial issues.

What we do: Airway screening; collaboration with your ENT.

Dark Circles

“Allergic shiners” under the eyes can signal poor nasal breathing and unrefreshing sleep.

What we do: Airway First screening.

Allergies

Chronic congestion drives mouth breathing, which shapes growth over time.

What we do: Airway evaluation; coordinate with ENT/allergist.

ADHD-like Symptoms

Poor sleep from airway issues can look a lot like inattention or hyperactivity during the day.

Tongue Tie

Restricted tongue movement can affect oral posture, feeding, speech, and development.

What we do: Evaluation, myofunctional therapy, and release when indicated.

Enlarged Tonsils

Enlarged tonsils or adenoids can block the airway during sleep.

What we do: Airway screening with ENT referral when needed.

Teeth Grinding

Grinding (bruxism) is often linked to airway and bite issues, not just stress.

What we do: Combined bite and airway evaluation.

Night Sweats

Can accompany the extra effort of breathing during disrupted sleep.

What we do: Airway evaluation and collaborative care.

Learning Difficulties

Poor sleep quality quietly undermines focus, memory, and school performance.

What we do: Airway First screening; collaborative care.

Facial Asymmetries

Uneven growth of the jaws and face, often growth- or habit-related, is easiest to guide early.

What we do: Early growth guidance and comprehensive orthodontics.

Body Posture

Head-forward posture and body position can tie back to how a person breathes.

What we do: Airway evaluation; myofunctional and bodywork collaboration.
